Decided to take part in Vectorama this month. It’s a fun little vector-based illustration contest hosted by Canada’s Sexy Geek Blogger, Mostly Lisa… who is convinced that she is not a muggle. I stumbled across her informatively, quirky, geeky site through Revver.com a few months ago and have been a fan ever since.
Well, I received a nice little email in my inbox to say that I won this month’s contest making it my first illustration competition win! EVAR! It was a fun little competition. I used to draw and do illustrations a lot so it was nice to be prompted to do it again.
I had to submit the vector drawing first… I think to prove that it was done as vector-based artwork first before generating the final jpeg for posting. Thankfully, no points were deducted for messy vector artwork… I will spend a bit more time next round.
Lot o’fun to do. Kinda neat to win.

That's swell steelie! (what?! am I on Leave it to Beaver?! "swell"… sheesh) Glad you're having fun with design/illustration again! I liked you periscope guy too that you designed a couple of years ago for a potential work thing. That was cute and clever too! Yes, you have talent.
