  1. I adore this photo. I sure do. *sniff*

  2. You can download it if you want. If you click in tit to make it bigger a link below it will appear prompting you to View full size. Then this little guy will appear and overflow your screen with cuteness. Then just right-click the pic to download.

It's a 1.5 MB JPEG so you should be able to print from it.

  3. BTW, I just posted on my other blog but don't get excited: it's a repeat of what I've posted here. It's a lot of work trying to keep up two! And you're the only one that knows about this one thus far. Like you, I'm giving it a try to see if it's worth hanging on to.

Ta ta for now! Oh, when is lady luck going to get her own blog?? Now that would be swell…

  4. … I don’t know that the idea of blogging appeals to “T” very much. Well, especially not right now anyway… much to tired. What, with bun-in-oven and all. Maybe eventually, for now she just wants to get things sorted out with the company.

  5. How's the company coming? Has she shot any weddings this summer? Any decision on her final day of work or is she just going to try to cruise right through until she pops?

  6. The company is a bit on hold for now… Tam (“Family” viewing only so we're good) is not really actively persuing anything right now… no weddings either. I think it bothers her some that the company’s in slo-mo right now but I think it’s for the better — physically. She quite exhausted lately… looking to make it to the end of September as her last day.

Last time she was only working four days a week near the end, which was better for her physically but finacially left us with less — they look at your last few weeks of work to figure out payment.

We’d be better off finacially if she could hold out as long as possible and maybe just go on maternity leave early. She’d have to back to work before “sprout” was born but we wouldn't be quite so desperate in the mean time.

Now, at the risk of being a hypocrite, Mr. Harper’s $100 per child per month (so, $200 soon) is going to be welcomed bit of extra cash… I wish we didn’t need it because — big picture — it could have done our country better elsewhere. However, since we’re getting it we’ll use it.

  7. I'm glad to hear that the Conservative govn't is doing something helpful for someone other than big business guys! I know that you guys both need and deserve that extra influx of cash. Are you thinking at all of doing the split maternity/paternity leave this time too?

I'm sure Tamee is really tired. She was with Lucas too. I so wish I could be there to help out and to be company to her once she's home full-time. I don't know how much of a difference that made to her, but it was really important to me to both keep connected with her and get to know Lucas the way I did. I will forever value those Wednesdays… Coincidentally, Wednesday continues to be my favourite day of the week and I think that's why!

It's so awesome keeping in touch like this. I gotta call or at least email Tamee though. Shamee is too disconnected!
